Three Guineas Fund Fellows

Kathy Clemons, Three Guineas Fund Fellow, January-May 2004
Kathy Clemons is managing Three Guineas Fund's research on success factors in cross-sector partnerships between non-profits and businesses. Her work is focused on 3GF grant partners and other innovative, entrepreneurial nonprofits. Kathy worked for seven years with the Accelerated Solutions Environment at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, which employs an innovative, multi-disciplinary approach to collaborative decision-making. While at the ASE, Kathy worked in London, Paris, and Milan, helping to establish local practices in Europe. She also developed and delivered pro bono sessions for organizations, including Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization. Kathy is currently an MBA Candidate at Mills College. She graduated from Grinnell College, in Iowa, with a degree in French and Women's Studies. She studied in Paris, and is a founding member of GEAR (Grinnellians Escalating AIDS Response).

Jacqueline Morris, Three Guineas Fund Fellow
April-July 2001

Jacqueline Morris, a 2000-2001 Hubert H Humphrey (Fulbright) Fellow from Trinidad and Tobago, is an Internet Business Consultant.  She has been involved in Internet ventures since 1994, having been seduced from her previous field of Chemical Engineering by this new frontier.  Her interests lie in encouraging women’s and girls’ participation in the fields of Science and Technology, e-commerce, entrepreneurship and innovation in start-up Internet companies.  She has a BSc in Chemical Engineering from the UWI, Trinidad, an MS in Chemical Engineering from UFSCar, Brazil, and an MS in Engineering Science (Environmental Management) from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Shireen Lee, Three Guineas Fund Fellow
June-December 2000

An active advocate for the empowerment of girls and young women, Shireen Lee helped to start up a non-profit organization for girls, and has developed many after school, education, employment, and leadership programs, conferences and events for young women.  She is currently Co-Chair of the Youth Caucus of the United Nations (UN) Commission of the Status of Women and was nominated to the International NGO Coordinating Committee for the UN General Assembly Special Session convened to review the Beijing Platform for Action.   Shireen serves on the boards of several San Francisco youth organizations and is currently working towards her Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree at San Francisco State.

Lauren Elsner, Three Guineas Fund Fellow
June-July 2000

Lauren Elsner assisted the Three Guineas Fund in web strategy and content development as well as the establishment of a career development program for young women in information technology.  She graduated cum laude from Duke University with a degree in Biology and Classical Civilizations and immediately joined Ernst and Young, LLP in management consulting.  She has also worked in marketing for the University of Michigan and started a web and Internet education program at Focus: HOPE in Ann Arbor, MI. Lauren will be entering the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin as a Longhorn Scholar in September, 2000.

Masum Momaya, Three Guineas Fund Fellow
May 2000

Masum Momaya came to Three Guineas through the Coro Foundation Fellowship Program in Public Affairs, where she helped develop a concept paper on a Venture Fair for non-profits for the Three Guineas Fund.  In her academic endeavors, public service and leadership experiences, Masum has dedicated herself to social justice issues surrounding women.  While at Stanford, she interned at the Center for Women Policy Studies, the Global Fund for Women, the Women's Intercultural Network, the California Women's Agenda, and the Family Violence Prevention Fund for Battered Immigrant Women.  Masum also helped form Stanford's South Asian Women's Collective, and a cultural dance-mentoring program for youth.  Masum holds a BA in Public Policy and Feminist Studies from Stanford University.
